Okay okay okay.. this is my first real Renji fanart for one.
I got this idea when reading Book 7 of BLEACH while Renji was going to see Rukia. I saw his clothing and thought "Wow. Flowers. How feminine. " I showed it to some friends and they all agreed that Renji's little flower print kimono/yukata was girly. Since I haven't seen it in an episode yet (I've only seen up to episode 13 and I think they just make it plain white in the anime anyway), I only had the manga referrence to draw it.. and.. as we all know, manga doesn't exactly come in colour. Sooo.. I just coloured it to how I saw it. I saw kind of an autumn orange/brown colour. Anyway..
Also, I know that it's most likely a yukata, but it looks so much like a kimono! Ha.

When Byakuya refers to Renji as "my lieutenant", I mean it in the same terms as the President of the United States calls his assistants as "my assistants" or a teacher saying "my students". You get the idea.

Just having some fun with Renji. He's so fun to draw~!

EDIT: After seeing screencaps of Episode 18, it has been confirmed that his kimono is PINK. Well, white with pink flowers. Which just proves my point more. HA.
